Extracurriculars
Outside of my classes, I stay involved in various clubs and jobs. I work at the campus makerspace, play the trumpet with Pep Band, manage Chabad events and relations with the Chaplaincy, and facilitate the AroAce Space out of the LGBTQ Center.
Nolop
I work at Nolop, a makerspace at Tufts focused on encouraging all kinds of students to delve into design and manufacturing. We want Nolop to be a collaborative and comfortable space for anyone who has a passion for making things - whether that's art students, english majors, or engineers. I love working as a supervisor there - I'm able to help with all kinds of cool projects and research. I also monitor the machines, and get to debug and tinker with them if there are issues. I run trainings for staff and students on various machines in the shop, such as how to design for 3D printing, how to fix/clean the laser cutter, and how to use basic power tools. I also manage the materials store, where we sell laser cutting materials, electronic parts, and various mechanical components.

Pep Band
I've played the trumpet with Tufts Pep Band since freshman year. Throughout high school, I did marching band and was first trumpet with the Golden State Symphony. When I got to college, I wanted to continue playing, but more for fun than cultivating skill. Pep band has been perfect for this - it is such a fun community, and I really enjoy playing with them. During senior year, I have been on the executive board as Librarian. I help organize the logistics and food for each game we play at, copy new music, and make sure that everyone has the right parts for each song.

Chabad and Interfaith Student Council
I am the Vice President for Academic Relations for Chabad at Tufts. I coordinate events and meetings with the Chaplaincy, update the Chabad website (jewishjumbo.com) and am the Chabad representative for Interfaith Student Council. There, we organize inter-religious events and interfaith education panels for the larger Tufts community.

Aro/Ace Space
I am a co-facilitator for Aro/Ace Space, a discussion group for those who idenitfy along the asexual, aromantic spectrum that works out of the LGBTQ center. We organize social events, educational talks, and inter-collegiate events. We also provide resources for members and the larger LGBTQ community - compiling books, articles, zines, and academic papers focusing on asexuality. I also run our Instagram page, @tuftsaroacespace.
