Outside of school, I enjoy photography, painting, manufacturing, and ceramics. I also love biking, backpacking, and being in nature. I find my academic work fulfilling but busy, so I like my hobbies to be relaxing and calming. Working with my hands to create a final product is very satisfying - both in engineering and outside of school. I enjoy buildings things I'll get to use - like shelves, a sled, or 3D printers. And outdoor activities are incredible - I've been biking, camping and backpacking since I was very young. I've enjoyed getting to go on rides internationally as well as around Boston and Massachusetts, such as the 150 mile ride from Somerville to Provincetown I did this summer. After much planning, in April, 2024 I'll be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada after completing my Master's degree.
