This was a project from both Materials & Manufacturing, ME 10, and Mechanics, ME 20. We looked at an assistive technology product called the iWalk and analyzed the stress and strain on the product when walking, and how the materials were chosen to accommodate for the forces exerted on it. In Materials, we made a CAD model on Solidworks, and analyzed the material properties needed to function effectively.
